It can be said that electricity has become a major energy source in any activities both in households and industry. Ranging from kitchen appliances to large machinery factories and even airplanes, all require electricity. Electricity generally obtained from changing the kinetic energy into electricity through a generator. Kinetic energy to drive the generator can be obtained from the steam produced from the combustion of fossil energy sources, such as oil, coal and gas or it could be from the flow of water or air flow. The bottom line is the conversion of electrical energy generated from other energy sources. Energy sources for electricity have advantages and disadvantages. Fossil energy sources are easy to obtain but are polluting and limited reserves.
